Looking out my open windows at the peaceful late afternoon in the rain. Trying to work, but the muted view is distracting. So is the soundtrack -- I love listening to gentle rain softly tap-dancing on new leaves.

What a wonderful view!
Though I like mine too, yours is something completely different to what we up here are used to. I live in the middle of a city! So my view is an old school and an old church and some other buildings too, but we do have trees in our gardens! But even when you live 'in the country' you might as well look at other buildings; the Netherlands is one of the most densely inhabited countries in the world.
